“We see global warming not as an inevitability, but as an invitation to build, innovate, effect change - it is a pathway that awakens creativity, compassion and genius. This is not a liberal agenda, nor a conservative one. This is a human agenda.” — Drawdown by Paul Hawken
What all started from one little garden patio with a few pots has turned into a thriving ecosystem of fruit trees, pollinator flowers for bees, lady bugs, hummingbirds, and of course our sacred butterfly population. Gardens and the outdoor spaces around your home can add peace, joy and connection. We are here to guide you to see the full potential of your outdoor spaces and how making small changes in your garden can benefit the planet.
About Our Founder
Caitlin Lampert Spirlock is a native to the Bay Area and specifically to the North Bay. At a young age, Caitlin knew she loved being in nature and in the garden. She loved planting something, taking care of it and enjoying the fruits of her labor. Caitlin has been transforming garden spaces for 15 years. Whether she is growing her own produce or seeing the hummingbirds and bees enjoying the garden it all brings her so much joy.
Caitlin became interested in soil health when she noticed the soil becoming dusty and barren after years of planting. She came across the Kiss The Ground documentary and was inspired to do more. She completed the Kiss the Ground program to become a Soil Advocate to teach others about regenerative farming.
